Queer Cinema Club will open on April 20th with a screening of Gregg Araki’s savagely sexy masterpiece The Living End. Dubbed a “gay Thelma & Louise” upon release (though it’s so much more), it follows two HIV positive men who go on a wild road trip under the influence of the ever-relatable motto: “fuck everything.” A iconic example of New Queer Cinema, it felt like the exact right tone to kick off a new film series presented during a mounting apocalypse. So come join the club on April 20th and let’s “fuck everything” together.
